About the studio
everyone is a potter!
At Ohana Ceramics, our mission is to provide artists with the tools, knowledge and space to discover their ceramic potential.
Through workshops, classes and memberships, OCS strives to provide a supportive studio environment for the seasoned potters, eager beginners and everyone in between.

Behind the name
Ohana is Hawaiian for family, and family is this studio's core value. It took a family to build this warehouse into what it is today, and this studio will continue to grow its own family, consisting of potters of every age, culture and background.
our facility
Our 4,500 square foot studio is equipped with electric wheels, a slab roller, hand building tables, endless tools and a range of glazes that allow you to push the limits of form, texture and color.

I started ceramics in 2021, and pottery has since taken me around the country and world. Family is the most important part of my life, and that's why I created Ohana Ceramics: to foster a new family of artists here in Billings. It’s my goal to help bring together life-long local artists and brand-new beginners through the medium of clay. Ceramic pieces last a long time, but the friendships you make in the studio last even longer.
I have helped over 500 students throw their first pot on the wheel and don't plan on stopping! Teaching is my passion and I'd love to have you in a class!

Hey! I’m Macey and I’ve been doing ceramics for about seven years. Born and raised in Cody, Wyoming, and currently earning my Art degree at Rocky Mountain College. I love my family, my animals, and anything outdoors.
I love clay because it gives me a creative outlet and a little “me time.” It makes me feel like a kid again, playing with mud, but with purpose. Super excited to have you in the studio and in the Ohana family!

I am an artist born and raised in Billings, Montana. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in painting and drawing, from Montana State University in 2025. Working primarily in oil paint, I blend impressionism and realism to create psychologically charged spaces where interior and exterior selves overlap, using vibrant color to convey emotional depth and layered perception. My work draws from experiences of growing up in Montana, mental health, and examining how personal histories intersect with broader social narratives. I have exhibited extensively across Montana and the United States, including Iowa and New York. I am drawn to ceramics due to the medium's physical engagement, three-dimensionality, and possibilities for surface design. I am excited to work in the studio with you and extend the Ohana community!

Hey! Since 2015 I have been working with clay, developing a deep love for sculpture and pottery. I attended Southwest Baptist University, earning my degree in 3D studio art, studied in Florence, and worked as an instructor at Dahl Arts Studio in South Dakota. I draw my inspiration from the human figure, my love for the outdoors and the connection between the two. I'm so excited to share my passion with you!
