Intermediate Wheel - Fridays 6pm
Take your wheel throwing technique to the next level! This includes improving throwing efficiency, pushing personal limits of size and form, and throwing with a new level of intention. Projects will include sectional pieces, lidded vessels and more. Each week will include a technical demonstration, a follow-along demo, as well as hands-on help. This class is perfect for those who already have the fundamentals down from the beginner course.
Students should already feel comfortable throwing 2lb cylinders prior to taking this class.
This 7-week class will start on July 17th and end on August 28th. Your instructor will be Max!
Every Friday at 6pm, we will meet as a class for demonstrations and one-help for 2.5 hours. Outside of the class, you will get unlimited access to the studio and its equipment. Practice is essential for learning pottery, and our 24-7 studio allows for you to practice wheel-throwing on your schedule.
During our first class, we will go over the safety, etiquette and rules of a community studio, so you will be well-prepared for self-guided practice. You will be given a personal shelf for project and clay storage. As long as there's no on-going class, the student wheels and tables are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All firing costs are included. You will receive a 25lb bag of clay on the first day and an email with more information will be sent the day prior.

Disclaimer
We will handle your artwork with great care! However, due to the inherent unpredictability of clay and kilns, we cannot guarantee the absence of defects or damage during the firing process. Enrollment confirms your understanding that the studio is not liable for the final result of your fired work.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited seating in our classes, workshops are non-refundable. However, if notice is given 7 days prior, we will reschedule you to another date in the future.
Classes are refundable up to 48 hours prior to the first class. Due to processing fees, 3% of your refund is withheld for payment processing.
